Michael Caligiuri, MD, MS

Michael Caligiuri, MD, is internationally recognized for his work in innate immunology (NK cells), leukemia, cancer immune therapeutics, and preclinical and clinical development of novel immunotherapeutics for cancer. He has served as member or chair of external advisory boards for12 US comprehensive cancer centers, on scientific advisory boards of a multitude of private biotechnology companies and previously served on the board of directors (supervisory board) of a publicly traded company. He was elected to the USA National Academy of Medicine in 2018 and is past president of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). Caligiuri received his MD degree at Stanford and completed residency and fellowships in oncology and immunology at Harvard. He is currently the President of City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles and a co-founder of CytoImmune Therapeutics in Puerto Rico.
